Select a rhyme scheme: either Italian-style (Petrarchan) or English-style (Shakespearean). Do NOT MIX the
two rhyme schemes. Samples of both styles are included in the Module.
Be sure to include your first and last names in your sonnet.
Be sure to use proper punctuation. Use a period for every sentence. Generally, that will be every two lines.
Be sure to CAPITALIZE the first letter of each line. It is standard verse from.
Give your Sonnet a title and a Title page. Indicate on the Title page the style of rhyme scheme you are using.
