The chapter content on marketing for small and large sport facilities provides many assets that are both ‘tangible and intangible’ for a facility to sell. This can be as large as the facility naming rights, to the brand of hot dogs sold at the site and everything in between (luxury boxes, PSLs, pouring rights, ticketing, signage, and parking).
I want you to pick out 3 different areas (tangible or intangible) of marketing/selling that a sport facility owner can use to generate income. For each of these 3 identified areas you should provide specific comments on what might be the basic elements of a marketing strategy or plan by going through the 4 P’s of marketing (Product/Place/Price/Promotion).
You only have to provide a single comment or 2/3 comments on each of the 4 P’s for each of the 3 areas you select (see Example below). You cannot use Naming Rights as one of your 3 areas.
