The second coursework is WRIT1 (Performance Analysis Report) is a report on a practical exercise to develop, use and evaluate an analysis system for an important aspect of performance in" rel="nofollow">in a sport of the student?s choosin" rel="nofollow">ing. The student selects a sport of in" rel="nofollow">interest and then an important aspect of performance in" rel="nofollow">in the sport. The validity and importance of this aspect of sports performance are justified in" rel="nofollow">in the in" rel="nofollow">introduction which provides a rationale for the chosen aspect. The aspect of sports performance is operationalised usin" rel="nofollow">ing variables defin" rel="nofollow">ined by the student. The student develops a manual notation system in" rel="nofollow">includin" rel="nofollow">ing necessary data recordin" rel="nofollow">ing form, procedures for operation and data processin" rel="nofollow">ing methods to produce the required performance variables. The system is then used to analyse a sin" rel="nofollow">ingle or several sports performances (dependin" rel="nofollow">ing on the sport). Results are presented with visual impact that would enhance communication of feedback and coachin" rel="nofollow">ing decisions. The student evaluates the process of usin" rel="nofollow">ing the system, discussin" rel="nofollow">ing its usability and sources of error. The student also evaluates the resultin" rel="nofollow">ing performance in" rel="nofollow">information, the extent to which performance variables could be performance in" rel="nofollow">indicators and the usefulness of the in" rel="nofollow">information.
