The following post has two assignments namely;

1.Stereotypes of the two poems

Several different stereotypes are explored in the poems. Compare the stereotypes that occurred in these two poems.Derricotte, Toi. “Black Boys Play the Classics" and Hogan, Linda. “Heritage" Comment on the stereotypes' origins, consequences and possible solutions. Do the poems contain some optimism or suggest constructive action or are they full of despair? Use evidence from the text to support your argument. I need a strong thesis in the beginning of the essay also.

2.Concurrency and Parallelism

    Answer the following questions. Why is benchmarking a program running on a JIT'ed VM challenging? What problem do the authors identify with much current approaches to benchmarking? What steps do they take to reduce the effect of any external factors on their measurements? Explain briefly how they automate analysis of benchmarking data. Each answer should be numbered 1-4, and should be about‘l side of A4 in total
