Build a supply chain throughout this course. To do so effectively, you have to address a number of questions and make decisions that hang together explaining the question and your decision along with why that is your decision and what you believe the impact of the decision will be for your supply chain. Each slide again will address 3 aspects. First, what is your answer to the question/topic, Second, why you decided that? Lastly, what's the perceived impact of the decision you've made. I encourage you to use the body of the PowerPoint slide to show your decision and use the notes section below the slide to show your reasoning why and the perceived impact. 1St slide. It is a cover slide. What business or product do you know of or are interested in to build a supply chain for? 2nd slide this slide is all about matching what the customer wants with your capabilities and how you're going to fit them together. For this 2nd slide, I want you to answer 3 questions for your business or product. 1) What are the needs of your customers? What are your capabilities and how are you going to best meet demand? What is the strategic fit? 3rd Slide For this slide, look at the six categories of drivers on page 44. For each driver, determine what will be the one key metric for your business. Tell me what you think it is for each driver, why, and the impact you hope the measure will have on your business 4th Slide, assume you're going to have a distribution aspect to your business. If there's no way you can have a distribution aspect to your business, and then use your suppliers and that they have a distribution aspect of their business. Which of the six design options from the text are you going to use for your business? 5th Slide: decide where you would locate your distribution center or centers and why and impact you hope to have. 6th Slide: Create a slide showing the potential global risks your business could face as well as why and what impact they could have on your business 7th slide: Decide on which forecasting method you would use for your supply chain, why, and the impact you would hope to have by it 8th slide: Describe, in some specificity, what role aggregate planning will have in your business and supply chain.
