The ability to describe or explain a process and to give instructions is a practical skill that extends well beyond ENG101. Of the patterns of development explored this term, process analysis is likely to be the one you will use most frequently in your professional endeavors. 1. For your main post, provide instructions for a process for which you are an expert and with which others in this class are unlikely familiar. As you write your instructions, keep in mind the guidelines on pp. 230 and 231 of your textbook. 2. In your responses to classmates' posts, explain whether or not you feel comfortable executing the process as instructed. Why or why not? Did you need more or less information? Were you lost in the sequence of steps?
