Television Storyboard

With a medium like television, which is comprised of both visual and auditory elements, it is difficult for someone to fully “get” a new idea based on just the written script. A storyboard combines images to represent the important visual elements with a written and/or spoken script to represent the audio elements.

Watch television, noting which commercials resonate.
Ideate how to communicate the benefits of your new product idea to your target market in a way that they will find engaging and compelling.
Do an internet search for images of a storyboard.
Develop a storyboard to include a minimum of six frames. NOTE: Your drawings should be good, or at least “good enough” for your audience to understand what they are seeing.
Insert your storyboard images into a series of PowerPoint slides. NOTE: One storyboard frame per slide. The frames should fill the PowerPoint slide, be sufficiently well lit, be in focus, and have good contrast.
Write out the audio portion of your commercial (e.g., narration, dialogue, music, sound effects) and include it in the notes section of each slide.
