Student will create a Termination plan for their fictional family. Students will begin by explaining
how they will know that the family is appropriate for termination (ie what change must occur?
What will family look like when they are ready to terminate?) Next, student will identify what
potential affective responses clients may have to ending treatment. Finally, student will describe
how they will conduct a planned termination with the family. Student should list any experiential
techniques they would use in final session along with any recommendations/referrals they would
make for maintenance/follow up care. Students should note if they would make any referrals for
interdisciplinary care, they should note the referrals here. Paper should be 2-3 pages.
