Explore what the consumption habits of the Black woman’s aesthetic tells us about their reality as well
as the strategies and techniques adopted by Black women to recover from what could only be described as a
stolen identity. I aim to explore the experience of black women in both westernized countries, mainly in the UK
and US. I have attached a detailed plan of what this thesis should entailed. This is a dissertation for a
