You have read a nonfiction, scholarly book for the course, and now is the time to put forth your thoughts on that book in writing--in the form of a formal paper. This paper will be done in the style of a Guide for Readers and Researchers. It should include the following components:
- An introduction to the text including how it's laid out and what the author's intent and audience might be. (one page or so). Think about how you introduced articles in the Summary and Editorial pieces. Look into whether your book as won any awards, whether the author is acclaimed, who the author is professionally, what the basic thesis of the book is.
- A short summary of the book and how it's laid-out. This section should be at least half a page and no more than one full page.
