What in your opinion is the biggest problem facing the United States today in terms of race?
Step one: Choose what in your opinion is the biggest problem facing the United States today in terms of race.
Step two: Research the problem and find at least two reliable sources you can draw on that support your opinion about the problem you choose and why it is important. This time you can use the internet.
Step three: Write an essay three to six pages in length, double-spaced, in Times New Roman 12 pt font, that does the following:
- Explain what the problem is you have chosen to write about and use your evidence from your sources to thoroughly explain the problem and why you think it is the biggest problem.
- Explain in detail the roots of this problem in the African American past we have discussed this semester.
- Offer at least one detailed, practical solution to the problem you have defined and explained.
All sources you use must be cited properly with in-text citations and a works cited page. The style you use is your choice.
Your paper should be in your own words with minimal usage of quotes.
