Select a single, domestic (i.e., American) political party OR interest groups, past or
present, and write a research paper. The final paper will be six pages. This is just
the paper topic.
A single sentence stating the full name (not just acronym) of your party or interest
group.

1. NO two people may research the same topic.
2. NO selection may be made from the required text (e.g., Democrats and
   Republicans are banned).
3. Do some research first to see if the topic is viable. You will need a minimum of
   three academic sources from the college databases for the final paper. You will
   be wasting your time if you choose a topic without enough information.
4. Paper topics will be graded and returned with comments to Canvas.
5. Do not do any additional work on the paper until you have been "Approved."
