In my experience, there is rarely a question about to whom one answers…who one reports to…who one is accountable to. The "chain of command" is clear and even diagrammed in organizational charts. But what about a "chain of SUPPORT"? This topic raises a number of issues:
--Can the same person be the supervisor AND the evaluator for personnel?
--How does one discern between MANAGEMENT and LEADERSHIP?
--When it concerns "curriculum and instruction", who leads…who manages…who supports--whom? (Or what?)
--What are your personal best sources of support (what/who/when/how)?
--How do you best PROVIDE support to others--peers, parents, administrators?
