Consider the role of the following key components of the soft drinks industry value chain:

a. concentrate producers,

b. bottlers,

c. retailers.

Three Sections should considered for this case study:

For each of the key value chain components (concentrate producers, bottlers and retailers), assess the power of each of the five forces in the industry: that is, how powerful are the buyers, how powerful are the suppliers, and how powerful are the substitutes? How formidable are the barriers to entry and how intense is the rivalry?
