For this case study at least five journal articles will be reviewed to understand to what degree the media can create racial stereotypes in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in the eye of the public. How the portrayal of min" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">inorities on primetime television contributes to these stereotypes and how the news media depicts min" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">inorities further solidifyin" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">ing these stereotypes. In addition we will review how the news media racializes different crimes and events. 1. Introduction: Describes overall purpose of paper (in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">includes description of case for background/context; briefly previews type of media content that will be analyzed and theoretical/scholarly literature that will be used; makes argument for why that area of scholarly literature is best suited to understandin" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">in" rel="nofollow">ing the case). 2. Literature Review: Summary of theoretical/scholarly literature reviewed for the case (at least 10 sources cited). 3. Method: Identifies media content analyzed; provides rationale for media content selected; describes how media content was collected; briefly identifies qualitative content analysis as the method of data analysis. 4.
