write a two page essay, double spaced, that answers the question, below I expect an introduction,
conclusion, careful editing and structure, but otherwise, no specific format.

Students will create athree page project that examines the impact of a specific event on the working
class – the majority of a nation’s population. The project will include an introduction, a clear structure, a
conclusion and a bibliography and I expect it to be free of errors.
You may want to focus on just one part of the working class – women, children, Natives from the
Americas, immigrants, blacks, factory workers, etc. You could choose two or three groups.The only
group you may not choose are the people with wealth and power.
The event might be industrialization, World War I, the Protestant Reformation, the French Revolution, etc.
Be creative. Some questions you might want to examine include:
How did the event that you chose impact the group or groups that you chose? How did your group(s)
respond to the event?
What changes did they make?
Did these changes make their lives better?
