requires you to do an electronic search of recent/current on-line (e.g.,
social media, media, e-commerce) business ethics cases/events.
First choose and document one of the following mass media
News, Google News Canada, or the National Post, Toronto Star, BBC, or
(with prior approval of instructor) another source.
- Using your
chosen mass media source/website, search for an example of one ethical
and one unethical action/event/policy/procedure/etc., then cite these
cases (using APA) guidelines.
- Describe the cases, and describe why
you believe it is/was ethical and unethical. Finally, for the unethical
case, describe what should be done by businesses to reduce the
likelihood of these unethical events occurring in the future.
