Geology Field Project
Minimum three sites. Each site must illustrate a different rock family from the 5 families and sub-families of rocks.
(5 Rock Families: Igneous volcanic, igneous plutonic, sedimentary, metamorphic, and hydrothermal)
The project must have a minimum of two photos per site. It is important to note that the field guide should be designed for an audience like the classmates in this course.

The report must be typewritten and 3-hole punched. Report will not be accepted or significantly penalized, in other types of report covers.

I choose and visited the three locations for the three sites of the rock family. I found and took a picture of the three different rock families and four different rocks in the Bay Area. I will give you information about this in details.

Please read the project guideline (I posted another folder) carefully and attentively before starting the project because the project must follow the criteria.

I will give you three sites ( 3 rock families and 4 rocks) I visited and found.
Also, I uploaded the guideline and the book of Geology go the Bay Area Region. This is very helpful for the project.
