The Fight to Achieve Racial Equality in Health Care
The Fight to Achieve Racial Equality in Health Care
Order Description
TOPIC: The Fight to Achieve Racial Equality in Health Care
Topics must relate to course content and should address current events or current issues in healthcare law and ethics. Topics should be chosen and submitted for
approval by Week 4. If a student is unsure how to approach a topic, he or she is encouraged to discuss it with the instructor.
The research paper should be 6 to 12 pages in length, not including the title page, abstract and list of references. Aim for a thorough analysis but be concise. The
goal is quality, not quantity. The paper should be edited carefully to avoid mistakes in grammar, spelling and syntax.
The paper must be in APA format, word-processed and printed. A hard copy should be turned in during Week 11, but it may be emailed to the instructor if circumstances
warrant. A second copy may be submitted electronically to the instructor’s email address, but an emailed copy is not required.
The paper should include a title page, an abstract of 250 words or less, a discussion section, a conclusion and a list of references, and should have at least 6
references. Acceptable references include websites, news articles, conference proceedings, books and journal articles. Wikipedia is not acceptable as a research
source.
Each student’s work must be original. Collaboration between students is allowed, but a student may not write or borrow all or part of another student’s paper, and at
least some of a student’s references should be unique to that student. Academic dishonesty is not allowed, and might result in a student receiving no credit or being
reported for suspected plagiarism.
Grading is based on the quality of the student’s research, writing, and analysis. Maximum value: 30 points.
