In Part 4, you were introduced to the Walls children as adults. Although each of them has lived through very difficult times, they have very different lives. Adversity often pushes people to develop into stronger individuals and the children of the Walls family are no exception.1) Looking back on her childhood, what do you think that Jeannette's overriding memories of being a child will be? Do you think that they are primarily positive or negative? Why?2) Which do you think is more important in forming a person's personality, their natural inborn tendencies or the environment they they grow up in? Use one example from the book that you think demonstrates the importance of either one or the other in any of the Walls family members? 3) On a scale of 1-10, 1 being you completely disliked the book, and 10 being you absolutely loved the book, how would you rate The Glass Castle overall?
