“The Second Sexism,” Paper review

In a paper titled “The Second Sexism,” David Benatar draws attention to a number of male disadvantages and argues that they qualify as instances of wrongful discrimination on the basis of a person’s sex. Unlike sexism against women, sex discrimination against men and boys has not been given a great deal of attention by those who value gender equality. This neglect is in itself problematic but should also concern us, according to Benatar, because “discrimination against women cannot fully be addressed without attending to all forms of sexism.” Explain and then carefully evaluate the argument that Benatar makes in support of the claim that there is sexism against men and boys.
