o Trauma is commonly understood as an individual experience. How have sociologists challenged this
OR
idea with the concept of cultural trauma?
o What is collective memory and why does it matter from a sociological perspective? Discuss.
Your essay should demonstrate: a) your knowledge and understanding of a range of cultural sociological theories; b) your capacity to think critically about them and, c) where applicable, your ability to link or apply them to concrete or real life examples.
