  1. I would like you to reflect on two aspects of stress reduction and positive habits for your future development.
. To address these questions, open up the original Journal assignment and create a new Journal Entry. Here
are the questions: We can help ourselves greatly if we develop the habit of practicing some form of daily
meditation or time for reflection or just calming down. It can be as little as 10 minutes every day or ideally 40
minutes or more. It can be practiced at any time of the day. It can take the form of prayer from any religious
tradition, physical activity (bowing, tai chi, dance), deep breathing, silent reflection, guided visualization. It can
be done with a smart-phone Ap or book or nothing at all. The forms it can take are almost endless. So the
question is: "What form of daily stress reduction activity or non-activity are you willing to commit to for the
remainder of this semester?" How will you go about it? What is your plan to make it happen and build it into
    your life?"
The second question deals with time management. As Steven Covey suggests, we should know our guiding
principles and values in order to decide our "A" priorities in planning and managing our daily activities. Make a
list of your top 10 priorities for the coming 3 months. Next to each of the 10 rates them "High" "Moderate" or
"Low" for both Urgency and Importance. Now reorder them so that the items that are both Urgent and
Important are at the top and the items that are least Urgent and Important are at the bottom. How will you make
sure that the top 2 or 3 items are taken care of or addressed each and every day?
  2. I would like you to reflect on your own experience with creative problem-solving. During the class on
Tuesday, September 15th I presented a set of questions to stimulate your thought on how you solve problems.
The PowerPoint slide I used is attached. Please use your Journal entry to answer the questions in the attached
slide. Only use the Journal entry screen to write your answers to the questions
