What Factors Influence Busin" rel="nofollow">iness Power?
Introduction
Accordin" rel="nofollow">ing to Stein" rel="nofollow">iner G. and Stein" rel="nofollow">iner J. (2009), it can be in" rel="nofollow">inferred that busin" rel="nofollow">iness power refers to the ability to in" rel="nofollow">influence people and resources to attain" rel="nofollow">in particular
goals. It is the ability to cause or avert an activity, or to make thin" rel="nofollow">ings happen. This fact is not different in" rel="nofollow">in busin" rel="nofollow">iness; different busin" rel="nofollow">inesses exhibit different forms
and levels of power (Culpepper, 2011; Stein" rel="nofollow">iner G. and Stein" rel="nofollow">iner J., 2009). In addition, busin" rel="nofollow">iness operates and is run by power. Power in" rel="nofollow">in busin" rel="nofollow">iness is important in" rel="nofollow">in
determin" rel="nofollow">inin" rel="nofollow">ing the methods and approaches used in" rel="nofollow">in the busin" rel="nofollow">iness operations. Which in" rel="nofollow">in turn determin" rel="nofollow">ine the effectiveness of the busin" rel="nofollow">iness? In the busin" rel="nofollow">iness sector, there are
five major types of power; each of them is distin" rel="nofollow">inctive of its features and operates effectively in" rel="nofollow">in different busin" rel="nofollow">iness scenarios. Examples of busin" rel="nofollow">iness power in" rel="nofollow">include
legitimate power, coercive power, expert power, referent and reward power (Johnson, 2016).
For a busin" rel="nofollow">iness to obtain" rel="nofollow">in or exhibit power, there are different factors that have to play a part in" rel="nofollow">in different ways due to its complex nature (Stein" rel="nofollow">iner G. and Stein" rel="nofollow">iner J.,
2009). This proposal will present the factors that in" rel="nofollow">influence busin" rel="nofollow">iness power. These factors revolve around different sectors; therefore, their discussion will be
sectored accordin" rel="nofollow">ing to different research questions. To achieve the objective, this proposal comprises three major sections; the first that has already been tackled.
The next is a review of literature section and then a methodology that will discuss how the research will be conducted.
Review of Literature
Accordin" rel="nofollow">ing to Stein" rel="nofollow">iner G. and Stein" rel="nofollow">iner J. (2009), busin" rel="nofollow">iness power is the ability to in" rel="nofollow">influence consumer behavior, successfully or with resistance while in" rel="nofollow">incorporatin" rel="nofollow">ing
several strategies to promote the desired action. One of the main" rel="nofollow">in objectives of a busin" rel="nofollow">iness is to compel consumers to buy and use their products. The enterprise has to
comprise power to succeed in" rel="nofollow">in this sector. People may resist this form of compellin" rel="nofollow">ing but an effective leader of a busin" rel="nofollow">iness has the ability to overcome such resistance
(Hacker & Pierson, 2002).
Busin" rel="nofollow">iness power can be in" rel="nofollow">influenced by various factors, and these factors determin" rel="nofollow">ine the level of power that a busin" rel="nofollow">iness is bound to have or how to utilize this form of
power towards the objectives of the organization. The factors that in" rel="nofollow">influence busin" rel="nofollow">iness power can be categorized in" rel="nofollow">into political factors, environmental factors, economic
and social factors (Stein" rel="nofollow">iner G. and Stein" rel="nofollow">iner J., 2009). The specific factors under these categories may differ for different busin" rel="nofollow">inesses as well as busin" rel="nofollow">iness situations.

This qualitative form of research will comprise a review of literature in" rel="nofollow">in a bid to accomplish its objectives. The primary source of in" rel="nofollow">information and data to be used for
this research will comprise onlin" rel="nofollow">ine material; this in" rel="nofollow">includes websites and onlin" rel="nofollow">ine journal articles. The secondary sources in" rel="nofollow">include a review of books and published
material.
Approximately 25 sources of credible in" rel="nofollow">information will be used for this research but this number is not limited to more material could be used for this research. This
