You are at a gathering where some relatives are talking about football and concussions. They know you are taking a psychology course and that you have just completed a section on the brain.
1. They ask you what you think (based on this knowledge) about professional American football and CTE. Tell them three things you learned from the League of Denial program you watched. What is your opinion of the NFL based on this?
- Family members are concerned about their son playing high school football next season. He's had one serious concussion already. What to look for if they think their son has had a concussion b. How should they respond, how should they treat him? When should he see a doctor?
c. Should he play again after another concussion? Explain your reasoning.
d. If he were your son, would you want him to continue playing football? Why or why not? Under what circumstances?
