Perform an Internet search and find a free download of a trial version of a voice-capture dictation system. Or, you can also use your phone's voice recognition system. Dictate one of the reports given and use the system to transcribe a "mock' patient report as a physician would on your computer screen. Describe your experience. How would you compare the speed of this report to the older method of dictating and waiting for a transcriptionist to obtain the dictation and then type the report? What do you find the pros and cons to be? What free trial version did you use? (You must have a microphone on your computer to do this assignment).
