What is Justice

This is an opinion based "editorial" MLA format. Must include facts to support thesis and opposing argument. Justice is often in the eye of the beholder. The intersections of society come together for what is often very subjective justice. What does justice really mean, and who decides? Further, are Scandinavian prisons superior? Make your case by comparing the American prison system and the Scandinavian one. What reforms and ideas around crime and punishment could each culture learn from each other to improve the current system? Is there a "best system?"
