Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs)

Question 1 (25 points): Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs)
Many employees are complaining about discomforts, pains and cramps caused mainly from inadequate postures and repetitive motions during work activities. Later these warning signs will reveal Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs).

a) (10 Points) Describe in detail the consequences if a company didn't manage properly the risk factors related to WMSDs. (Cite two appropriate references).
b) (15 Points) Recommend ten actions for companies to control risks related to WMSDs.

Question 3 (35 points): Workstation Improvements for E-Learning
Office workers are exposed to repetitive motion, primarily hand and wrist motion. In this exercise, you will improve your E-Learning workstation to avoid all potential Musculoskeletal risks related to office workers.
a) (7 Points) Describe all tasks that you are doing in your working environment for E-learning. (Things that may be part of your set up are: chair, desk, shelf, keyboard shelf, laptop, external mouse, external keyboard, or tablet with keyboard, or desktop computer with keyboard screen mouse, pens pencils, notebook, books, etc. ).
