Order Description

Write a formal critique for a technology of your choosing.
A critique requires that you conduct an in-depth analysis of the technology that you choose.
You must provide an introduction that indicates what technology you have chosen, what its purpose is, when it was developed and by whom (person / company), if it is a current version, if not, when
was the original developed and released, and when was the most recent version developed and released, its core functionality, and its sales numbers / download numbers / some other metric of its
user base / market position.
Address why it was developed; what problem was it intended to solve, or what need was it intended to address. In general, did it solve the problem or address the need it set out to do?
What are, in your opinion, three main positives of the technology you’ve chosen? Explain / describe them, and indicate why you feel they are positives; how do they make your experience with the
technology or your life better? Justify your responses. Then, indicate what three main positives are according to other critics, why they felt those aspects are positives, being sure to do so in
your own words. Do you agree with those critics? Why or why not? Additionally, cite your sources.
What are, in your opinion, three main negatives of the technology you’ve chosen? Explain / describe them, and indicate why you feel they are negatives; how do they make your experience with the
technology or your life worse, or at least less efficient? Justify your responses. Then, indicate what three main negatives are according to other critics, why they felt those aspects are
negatives, being sure to do so in your own words. Do you agree with those critics? Why or why not? Additionally, cite your sources.
What is one significant means by which the technology you’ve chosen could be improved? Describe in detail how it would be implemented and how it would improve the technology.
