For this assignment, I would like you to set up a semi-structured interview with another person. The topic of this interview will be happiness. Describe the process of a semi structured interview What are the advantages and disadvantages.
1) set the interview using the following base questions in designing your own interview guide. You can feel free to elaborate on any of these questions. You should choose at least 5-6 to ask during the interview and prepare an interview guide, with some prompts/probes for questions in case you need them. The basic questions are:
Do you view yourself as a happy person?
Are you happy to get up in the morning?
Is your happiness conditional?
Does the thought of happiness make you nervous?
Do you look forward to seeing your friends and family?
What are your thoughts on health and how it relates to happiness?
Compared to your happiness one year ago, how happy are you today?
Do you find happiness in little things?
Is there anything that is stopping you from being happy?
What makes you the happiest?
YOU WILL BE TURNING IN YOUR QUESTION GUIDE, BEING SURE TO INCLUDE ALL THE POINTS/PROMPTS THAT YOU HAD PLANNED TO USE. YOU SHOULD PLAN TO USE AT LEAST THREE PROMPTS/PROBES DURING THE INTERVIEW.
