Fundraising major gift proposal

In a proposal or letter (up to two pages), lay out your case for a major gift including • Amount • Rationale for the gift • How you propose to use it • How you might recognize the donor’s generosity (e.g. naming)
Provide sincere information that will stimulate the prospect’s interest. Indicate that the Major Gift Officer will follow-up with a phone call to schedule a meeting that includes the prospect, the Board member and the Major Gift Officer.
