The standards set by our state also guide our curriculum development. We are committed to ensuring that our students meet the state standards. We have aligned our curriculum to the state standards so that our students are prepared for success in college and beyond.

Program Goal and Exit Outcomes

The program goal is to ensure that all students graduate from high school with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in college, career, and life.

The exit outcomes are:

• Students will be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in English.
• Students will be able to think critically and solve problems.
• Students will be able to communicate effectively.
• Students will be able to work collaboratively.
• Students will be able to use technology effectively.
• Students will be able to be productive citizens.

We will map our program goal and exit outcomes to the appropriate state standard by using the state’s curriculum frameworks. The curriculum frameworks will provide us with a clear understanding of the knowledge and skills that students are expected to learn in each grade level. We will then align our curriculum to the state standards so that our students are prepared to meet the expectations.
