By accessing this evaluation you agree to abide by Seneca’s Academic Integrity Policy and understand
that any violation of academic integrity will be subject to the penalties outlined in the policy
https://www.senecacollege.ca/about/policies/academic-integrity-policy.html.
A late penalty will be deducted for material submitted after the stated deadline. Late assignments will
be accepted up to two (2) days after the due date; however, a penalty of 10% will be deducted per day.
After this time, no assessment will be provided and a grade of “0” awarded. Saturdays and Sundays are
counted as days late. Due dates will not be extended. E-mail submissions will not be accepted.
Method: This assignment is a group assignment.
✓ There is a MAXIMUM of 3 (three) persons per group – no exceptions.
✓ All members of the group will receive the same mark for this assignment.
✓ Everyone in the group must be enrolled in the same course section – no exceptions.
✓ Group sign-up is done on Blackboard “Groups”. Select a company you wish to research.
✓ Each student is responsible for finding/organizing their own group; the Professor will NOT assign
any group(s).
Equal Participation:
Each group member should contribute equally. Groups are to assign a section(s) to each member to
research, develop and write. The work should be divided equally. Designate one group member as the
group leader for the assignment. The group leader will be responsible for the final product submitted.
Grading:
Since grading is based on the overall assignment, group members should notify the professor before the
due date if any member does not do their share and advise the professor of the action the team took
with the member not doing their fair share (remember, professors only work Tuesday-Friday 09:00 –
16:00 during the summer). If the team feels a team member is not doing their fair share, it is at the sole
discretion of the team members to take appropriate action.
Special Instructions:
✓ The written portion of this assignment must be submitted as a Word document .docx. Use 12-
point Calibri font, double-spaced with 1-inch margins.
✓ You must use MLA guidelines to cite your research: “in-text citations” in the report and a “works
cited” page at the end of your report. For assistance, see
https://seneca.libguides.com/citingsources.
✓ Any part of the assignment “not cited” will be handled using the Seneca College Academic
Integrity Policy under “plagiarism”.
✓ The group leader must name the file as FirstnameLastNameCCAssignment.docx example:
SeanPerryCCAssignment.docx. Use the group leader’s name to name the document.
✓ Submit using Blackboard Safe-Assign. The group leader is to submit for the entire group. Only
submit files in .doc, .docx, .docm, .ppt, .pptx, .odt, .txt, .rtf, .pdf, and .html file formats only.
✓ E-mail submissions will not be accepted. There will be no extensions of due dates.
