Mona Lisa Smile

Watch the film Mona Lisa Smile and type up a two to three page paper in which you discuss the issues that the film raises.  Also tell me in your paper how you think these issues relate to this class.  Who are the women in the film?  What do they want?  Were they all from the same economic class, race/ethnicity?  What political, social, and economic issues are raised in the film and how are these consistent with the ones that you read about in Through Women’s Eyes?  Discuss any other issues that you think are important in understanding the time period.  Use the textbook to support your argument.  Your paper should be typed, double-spaced, with a #12 font and one inch margins.  Use paragraphs, complete sentences, and spell-check.  This paper is due June 3 at the beginning of class.  Hard copy only.  No email.
