Technical Terminology:
- Technology: The work performed by an organization. This includes the hardware, software, and skills used to produce goods or services.
- Task environment: The elements in the organization’s environment that influence its inputs and outputs.
- Technical core: The activities that transform inputs into outputs.
- Support functions: The activities that provide support to the technical core.
